"I thought to myself, what do you really want to do with your life? You've almost lost it." Traumatic Brain Injury survivor Angela was 23-years-old when her car was hit head-on by a reckless driver. This is her recovery story. Angela had to use a walker, wore an eye patch, and had visible bruises. "When I would go out, people would stare at me." "Living at home with my parents was 2 steps, 3 steps backwards. I thought, 'What am I really doing with my life now?' I was completely dependent on my family and friends for support and the doctors to give me the hope." With strong determination, she declared, "I can choose to be a victim or be like a warrior!" "I knew that one day I wanted to be a motivational speaker and think that all this hard stuff that's happening to me, there must be a bigger purpose. And I was going to do something about it. I'm going to make sure the world knows that I can be a hope angel for them." At the end of the video, Angela shares her advice about brain injury recovery as she approaches the Memorial Day weekend anniversary of her injuries. VIDEO PODCAST
